Boundless Challenges Young Adults to “Rock the Body”
Campaign calls millennials to commit to a local body of believers
August 16, 2013
Colorado Springs, Colo. – This fall season, Boundless.org wants to help 20- and 30-something singles get serious and excited about living out their faith as part of a local body of believers.
Connecting to a local church gives young adults access to worship, sacraments, accountability, fellowship and more. Boundless’
“Rock the Body”
campaign suggests five steps to becoming more deeply engaged: joining a gospel-centered church, joining or starting a small group, serving at least once a month in the church, tithing regularly, and encouraging the pastor.
“It’s easy for young adults to approach life, even church, with a consumer mentality,” said Lisa Anderson, director of Young Adults and host of “The Boundless Show” at Focus on the Family. “We want Christian singles to have accountability in a real body of believers and to contribute to the body with their own gifts.”
Participants will have from Aug. 26 – Oct. 3 to complete the challenge and write a short essay on their experience. Winners will be selected on Oct. 7, and the grand prize winner will be interviewed on “The Boundless Show” to air on Oct. 17.
From the essays received, 10 third-place winners will win a resource prize pack featuring many of the books and CDs referenced on “The Boundless Show” during the challenge.
Three second-place winners will receive the above, as well as
an ESV study Bible and a $100 gift card from ChristianBook.com for their pastor.
The grand prize winner will receive the above, as well as two registrations to
, airfare and hotel accommodations for two nights.
