Glenn Williams

Glenn Williams is the chief operating officer of Focus on the Family. Prior to May 2008, Glenn served in three roles: senior vice president; group vice president and vice president. 

Glenn has an extensive background in counseling, youth and families, and understands many of the challenges facing families today. Glenn founded Focus on the Family Australia in 1993 and served for 10 years as the CEO. In 1989, he helped establish one of the first government-funded accommodation programs for homeless young people and family mediation programs with Youth for Christ, where he also served as a family mediation worker for four years. Glenn spent nine months training youth and pastoral leaders in the highlands of Papua New Guinea and was a pastor for three years, responsible for youth and families. Before moving into fulltime ministry, Glenn worked in sales for a multinational company.

As an Australian psychologist and former pastor, Glenn has addressed a wide audience of people on family and parenting issues in the USA, UK, Canada, Asia, Latin America, the Pacific and Europe. Glenn co-authored the program "How to Drug Proof Your Kids," and was an expert/contributing author to the program "Starting Points."  Glenn also contributed to the books Growing a Healthy Marriage, Raising Them Right, The Marriage Masterpiece and Australian Stories for the Soul. Along with his wife, Glenn has written the book Your Marriage Can Survive a Newborn, now in six languages.

Glenn lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Natalie, and their three children.
