Between their own high expectations and the expectations placed upon them by congregations, denominations and other family members, they can easily become disheartened, perplexed or burned out. To that end, Focus on the Family regularly sponsors gatherings, retreats and other events to provide pastors and spouses with a time of fellowship, affirmation and awareness that what they are experiencing is not unique and that they have loving colleagues with whom they can find support.
