Iron Sharpens Iron

As a couple, discuss chapter 27 in the book of Proverbs. Read the chapter together or individually, then focus your conversation on the following passage and discussion questions.

"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." — Proverbs 27:17

  • What is one way you have changed for the better during our marriage?
  • What has been the biggest influence in the changes you have undergone?
  • How can we help each other become more like Christ?

It's easy to become complacent in our walk with Christ. However, God has given us a spouse to encourage us and help us become more like Him. As we walk through life's good and bad times with our spouse, God often uses him or her to shape us into the unique individuals God has designed us to be.
