Seek ways to come alongside and help your spouse, encouraging him or her to remember it is God who gives us the ability to handle shared responsibilities.

“You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.”
Psalm 65:9

  • How often do you feel stressed by the daily demands of caring for our family?
  • When you worry about the kids or our family, what do you worry about?
  • How can we help each other to release that stress and rely on God?

Both husbands and wives face the pressure of making sure certain needs are met in a family. Each person may have different responsibilities, but they both carry the weight of wanting their children to be healthy, responsible, educated and caring. While this family is their responsibility, God provides a marriage partnership so they can help shoulder each other’s burdens. Let’s seek ways to come alongside and help our spouse, encouraging him or her to remember it is God who gives us the ability to handle our responsibilities.
