Tiffany Smiley grew up in Pasco, Wash. She played college soccer at Columbia Basin College and went on to graduate with a B.S. in Nursing in 2003. Tiffany and her husband, Scotty, currently live with their three sons in Spokane, Wash.

Major Scotty Smiley is the Army’s first active-duty, blind officer. In 2005 he was permanently blinded from a suicide car bombing attack in Iraq. He went on to receive numerous awards for his service and graduate from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business with his MBA. Scotty and his wife, Tiffany, reside with their three sons in Spokane, Wash.
