Health Care Petitions Delivered
The Focus Action team delivered nearly 150,000 signatures voicing the disapproval of pro-life Americans with a health care reform bill that includes publicly funded abortion.

Last week, members of the Focus Action team were in Washington, D.C., delivering petitions to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. At the heart of these petitions are nearly 150,000 signatures voicing the disapproval of pro-life Americans with a health care reform bill that includes publicly funded abortion and lacks conscience protections for health care professionals who oppose abortion.
In addition to delivering the petitions, Focus on the Family Action held a press conference on the Capitol grounds. We were proud to have several legislators join us during our press conference and make statements in support of life. Several pro-life allies also attended and lent their voices to our cause.
Because of the urgency of the issue, along with our presence on Capitol Hill, I felt it particularly appropriate that our Focus Action Update also comes to you from Washington, D.C.
