Colorado Springs, Colo. – Focus on the Family publications and websites received 18 Evangelical Press Association awards, highlighted by three first-place awards.
"Clubhouse" and "Clubhouse, Jr.," Focus’ magazines for children, were honored with first-place awards in the Cartoon and Fiction categories for "Captain Absolutely" and "Ollie’s Flying Lesson." Boundless, Focus’ outreach to young adults, won first place for Cause of the Year with "Why Have Babies?"
Boundless.org also received the Award of Excellence for Youth (Digital) and "Thriving Family" won an Award of Excellence in both the General and General (Digital) categories.
"It’s an honor to receive these EPA awards," said Focus President Jim Daly. "Our staff strives to create relevant, biblically based materials for all ages, and the EPA awards are a great recognition of how their efforts are touching lives."
The EPA Awards of Excellence honor overall excellence for print and online publications, and the Higher Goals Awards recognize individual publication pieces.
The Evangelical Press Association is a professional association of Christian publications — magazines, newspapers and newsletters — and content-rich websites.
