Plus influential speakers including members of the House and Senate during private briefings and high-class dining engagements.

Your stay will be based at the Washington Court Hotel, located moments away from the Capitol Building and the National Mall. Capitol Hill

Capitol Hill Neighborhood

Capitol Hill is the most prestigious address in Washington, DC and the political center of the nation’s capital with the Capitol Building set atop a hill overlooking the National Mall. Members of Congress and their staff, lobbyists and journalists live on Capitol Hill with many of its 19th and 20th century row houses listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Union Station is located nearby providing plenty of options for shopping and dining. To learn more and plan your free time, visit the Capitol Hill Visitor Center website. http://www.visitthecapitol.gov/

Please note: The Faith & Freedom Tour requires long periods of standing and walking during tours and between some locations. Please keep this in mind, and be sure to let us know if you require any accessibility assistance.

Special Activities

Supreme Court tour (with Justice Briefing or Library of Congress tour – TBD)

“EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW” – These words, written above the main entrance to the Supreme Court Building, express the ultimate responsibility of the Supreme Court of the United States. The Court is the highest tribunal in the Nation for all cases and controversies arising under the Constitution or the laws of the United States. As the final arbiter of the law, the Court is charged with ensuring the American people the promise of equal justice under law and, thereby, also functions as guardian and interpreter of the Constitution. http://www.supremecourt.gov/

After hearing a powerful speech at the Capitol Hill Club over lunch, our event takes us to the Supreme Court for a tour. Yet to be determined, our tour will either include a personal briefing by a current Supreme Court Justice, or otherwise another interesting tour of the nearby Library of Congress, which is a perennial crowd pleaser.
