About the event
The Focus Marriage Model (FMM) Introductory Workshop is a unique opportunity to be introduced to the principles and intervention strategies that have made Focus on the Family’s Hope Restored Marital Therapy program successful for over 24 years. Over 11,000 couples from around the world have received this therapy. 8 in 10 couples are still married two years after FMT.
Our therapists have contributed to the refining of the FMM model and approach to help us achieve this streamlined method of couples counseling that has been effective even when marriages are in extreme distress. Since many of the therapists on our team also maintain their own out-of-office practice, these techniques have been able to be successfully adjusted and used in more traditional counseling settings and structures.
FMM integrates sound biblical truths with solid psychological principles and techniques to form a therapeutic approach that has dramatically assisted couples in crisis find their way to a relationship they both love.
