Standing Boldly for Life — Thanks to You!
Thanks to your faithful support, Focus on the Family continues to stand boldly for life in a culture that often resists truth. Recently, even voices from outside the pro-life movement have begun to acknowledge the reality of abortion. Comedian Bill Maher stunned many by admitting that abortion is, in fact, the taking of a human life. While we may not agree with him on much, his honesty underscores what we’ve been saying all along: abortion ends the life of a child. And because of your generosity, we’re able to speak that truth with clarity and compassion — through broadcasts, resources, and life-saving programs.
Your gifts are making a tangible difference. Since the reversal of Roe v. Wade, nearly 100,000 babies have been saved in states that have restricted abortion. But the fight is far from over. The abortion pill is widely accessible, and many pregnancy resource centers are now extending their hours to meet women in their moment of crisis — thanks to grants made possible by your donations. These centers are not just offering services; they’re offering hope. One nurse shared the story of a woman who came in emotionally detached, but after seeing her baby’s heartbeat on an ultrasound, she simply said, “Wow, that’s my baby.” That moment of recognition — of life — is what your support makes possible.
Together, we are equipping Christians to answer tough questions and defend life with grace and truth. Through initiatives like Option Ultrasound and powerful resources like The Case for Life by Scott Klusendorf, we’re helping people understand that every human being — no matter how small or dependent — is made in the image of God. * UPDATES ON CHARITABLE GIVING: Based on the new tax and spending law (called the One Big Beautiful Bill), starting in 2026, if you are a non-itemizer and have been taking the standard deduction, you’ll soon be able to deduct up to $1,000 in charitable gifts if you file individually, or $2,000 if you file jointly. Another key provision of this bill is the permanent extension of the previously temporary 60% AGI limit on cash contributions (which can still be used in combination with the 30% AGI limit on gifts of appreciated assets). What is Anedot?
Anedot is a trusted third party that processes credit/debit card, EFT/ACH and Paypal donations and manages our donation platform, which includes hosting our giving pages and sending out transaction related emails.
How do I request a refund, or make changes to my donation?
Login to your account in Anedot
- If you have not set up your account in Anedot, you will need to do that first.
- Visit htps://anedot.com/signup and fill out the short form. On page that follows, click on the ‘Access Anedot for Donors’ button to access your account.
- Be sure to use the same email associated with your commitment.
- If you have trouble logging in, please contact the Anedot support team by visiting https://donorsupport.com/, and selecting the “+” next to “Change or update a recurring donation.” Submit the form and the support team will help you log in.
How do I update my Focus on the Family account?
Visit https://account.focusonthefamily.com/ to view or manage the following account information:
- Manage your magazine subscriptions
- See your Focus Store purchase history
- See product transactions
- Get help with technical difficulties regarding your account and access to your information
- Submit a prayer request
- Download giving tax statements for any prior year
- Update how you listen to the Focus Broadcast
How do I update my commitment details (contact information, amount, and frequency)?
- In the left-hand column, select ‘Commitments’ to make changes to your recurring commitment details: contact information, amount, and frequency
- If you do not see your donation or commitment records in your account, be sure to confirm our email address. Records will not be displayed until your email address has been confirmed.
- Click the ‘Actions’ button to the right of the commitment you want to update
- Select ‘Edit’ from the drop-down menu
- In the Edit Commitment popup window, you can make changes to your commitment details
- Click ‘Save’ before exiting!
- Your commitment details are now updated! Updates will be reflected in future donations.
How do I update my payment methods?
- In the left-hand column, select ‘Dashboard’ (if you’re not already seeing the Donor Dashboard)
- In the Donor Dashboard, Payment Methods will be an option
- Select ‘Edit Payment Methods’
- Select ‘Add Payment Method’
- Select your choice of payment method, add the payment method details, and click ‘Save’
- Now, you’ll need to ‘connect’ this new payment method to your existing commitment
- Select ‘Commitments’ from the left-hand column
- Click the ‘Actions’ button to the right of the commitment you want to update.
- Select ‘Edit’ from the drop-down menu
- In the Edit Commitment popup window, scroll down to the Payment Method section and select which payment method you want to use for this commitment. In the case of your adding a new payment method, you would select that option (a checkmark will appear next to that payment method).
- Click ‘Save’ before exiting!
- Your payment method for that commitment has been updated! Updates will be reflected in future donations.
What if I never received a password reset email?
You can email help@anedot.com directly for password support. Focus on the Family is unable to resend the password reset email, but we can update your account for you.
Why don’t all my donations appear in Anedot?
Currently, Anedot only records transactions processed through their platform. Donations made via check or bill pay will not appear in Anedot. If you need a receipt or tax statement for donation that does not appear in Anedot you can contact Focus on the Family directly at 888-862-6767 or Friends@FocusOnTheFamily.com.
How do I cancel my recurring commitment?
- Visit https://www.anedot.com/donorsupport
- Scroll down to the support options provided
- In the left column, at the top, click the ‘+’ next to Request a refund or cancel a recurring donation
- Fill out and submit the form
- The Anedot Support Team will refund or cancel your recurring commitment
