A child in foster care needs your help today. More than 400,000 children in foster care, manyof whom have been abused, abandoned, or neglected, wait for a safe and loving family. They wait for hope and comfort. They wait to know that someone cares. You can show a hurting child that they are not forgotten.
These vulnerable children live in temporary foster homes, frequently moving with only a few personal belongings often stuffed into trash bags. With your gift today, you can provide a child in foster care with a new suitcase, teddy bear, and a Bible. You’ll also help educate and empower families considering foster care or adoption.
Every child deservesthe love of a family. You can make that possible with your gift today.

Our donor-funded Wait No Moreprogram focuses on two main areas:
Wait No More eventsconnect families to local agencies and essential resources tohelp navigate the foster care and adoption processes.
“Through Focus on the Family’s initiative to bring more awareness to foster care and adoption and the children waiting for families, we were reminded again that our God is a father to the fatherless, and he sets the lonely in families. We knew in our hearts; we were designed for this ministry.”

How You Can Help Children in Foster Care
Step 1
Decide to stand with children and families in foster care.
Your financial donation (i.e., a single gift of $100 or a monthly gift of $25) provides a new suitcase, a teddy bear, and a Bible to a child in foster care.
Due to logistical challenges, actual donations of new or used suitcases, teddy bears, and Bibles are not accepted.
