How Do I Participate in
Bring Your Bible from Home?
Bring Your Bible to School Day is just around the corner on October 1! Have you signed up yet?
If the pandemic has kept your schooling online-only, or if you homeschool, you may be wondering if you can participate in the event. The answer is YES! Whether your school is on a campus or at home right now, there are plenty of ways for you to get involved. In fact, we’ve went ahead and listed a few to get you started…
Post a photo or video of you with your Bible
Let your friends and family know you are participating in Bring Your Bible to School Day by taking a picture or video of yourself with your Bible and sharing it on social media with the hashtag #bringyourbible. Even if you are doing online schooling at the kitchen table, proudly display your Bible to encourage others! And make sure to tag @BringYourBible on Facebook and Instagram so we can see it, too – you may end up highlighted on our social media accounts!
Set up a Bible study via video chat
Physical distance isn’t keeping you from school, so it shouldn’t keep you from talking about the Bible with your friends! There are several different apps you can use to get in touch with your friends – why not schedule a Bible study during free time with your classmates on October 1? You can invite anyone who wants to join to talk with you and learn more about the Word of God!
Pray for your school
One underrated way to participate in Bring Your Bible to School Day is to pray for your school – for your classmates and teachers. Prayer is a powerful part of the Christian life, and it’s important to talk to God about the people in our lives. You never know, God might answer your prayers for a friend or teacher in some awesome ways! If you are homeschooled, choose a school near you and pray for those who go there.
Tune in to Live It LIVE! on October 1
