Jeff and Janie went to the lake to catch some fish.
Janie felt a tug on her fishing pole.
“I’ve got a big fish!” Janie cried. She pulled her fishing pole, making a big splash in the lake.
“So do I!” Jeff yelped. He stood up in the boat. “And my fish is bigger!”
“No, my fish is bigger!” Janie answered. She gave a big pull on her fishing pole.
Suddenly, Jeff fell forward—right into the lake! The boat rocked so hard that Janie fell in too.
“We didn’t catch a fish,” Janie said, splashing around. “My fishing pole got tangled with your fishing pole.”
“It’s silly to argue.” Jeff laughed. “We’ve got the brains of a fish!”
