My kitty snuggles on my bed.
I fold my hands and bow my head.
I’ve got my blanket and my bears.
It’s time right now to say my prayers.
Today, You watched me as I played.
You helped me when I felt afraid.
You’re with me in each step I take.
You know each thought and plan I make.
I’m sad for times I didn’t share,
Or tell the truth or show I care.
I’m sorry for bad things I’ve done.
Forgive me, God, through Christ Your Son.
You hear my prayers from up above.
I pray for everyone I love.
I ask to keep them safe from harm.
Please help them, God, with Your strong arm.
I pray for every boy and girl
And people all around the world.
You made the planets and each star.
I love You, God, for who You are.
The sleepy moon glows soft and white.
It’s time, dear God, to say, “Good night.”
Tomorrow we will talk again.
