Enthusiasts love God in the midst of joy and celebrations. They love to see evidence of God’s work around them, and enjoy role-playing as they learn. They like hands-on and physical learning. Here again King David comes immediately to mind. On the occasion mentioned above — David “danced before the Lord with all his might,” so that the Scripture says, “So David and all the house of Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouting and the sound of the trumpet” (2 Samuel 6:14-15).Â

Although it is helpful to discover the easiest way for you to connect with God, this knowledge shouldn’t stop you from growing your faith in other ways. As an Enthusiast, you most likely spend a lot of time with other people, celebrating them and how God has worked in their life. But it is important that you also spend time in solitude, and spending time in God’s creation can be a beneficial way to incorporate solitude into your time with God.
Here are some other ways you can expand your faith, using different worship styles:
- Activists love God by standing up for His Truth and righteousness. Try spending time with an elderly neighbor or child who could use a friend to make a difference in the lives of those around you.
- Caregivers connect to God by helping others. Give serving in church a try, whether in the nursey, Sunday school, or any other way you can help.
- Intellectuals worship God by using their mind. Listen to a lecture on a topic you want to learn more about.
