Do you “gnow” the answer to December’s gnome code? Here it is again:
How It Works
Split the alphabet into two groups, depending on if the capital letter contains a full-length, vertical line. Please note:
— half-length lines (such as G or Y) don’t count;
— slanted lines (such as A or W) don’t count;
— lines that curve without forming a corner (such as J or U) don’t count;
— letters with multiple verticals (such as M) belong in the same group as letters with only one vertical (such as B).
You should have 13 letters in each group.
Alphabetize both groups. Then number the letters, starting with the “no verticals” set.
1 |
A |
14 |
B |
Now that you have the key, decode the letters on the gnomes’ hats.
Look for a new code in the next issue of Clubhouse magazine.
