God’s Wonderful Animals

One morning I woke up
Feeling sort of funny,
I knew I didn’t have a cold,
Because my nose wasn’t runny.
At first I felt like a bee
And had to make honey.

Next I felt like a dog
That had just gotten fleas,
I got to eat dog food
And sniff all the trees.

Then I was a fish
Swimming in the ocean deep,
Not saying anything,
Not one little peep.

Finally, I grew very tall,
I was a spotted giraffe.
I had a blue tongue,
It made me laugh.

The animals God has made
Are great from big to small,
But I bet I’m the only one
Who once felt like them all.
