Matthew Parker’s Decoder #2010-10

Want to break the pirate’s code and figure out the secret message from the October issue of Focus on the Family Clubhouse magazine? In case you missed it, here it is again:

How It Works:
This code is made entirely of pirate heads! To find the secret message, read only the letters that appear on the right tip of the pirate hats. Nothing else matters. Got it?

Coolness!
The skull and crossbones symbol on a pirate flag is called a “Jolly Roger.” Flown as early as the 1600s, the flag was a pirate’s way to warn others he was coming and to try and “scare” them into surrendering. Despite the fact that we always associate these flags with pirates, many pirates actually used black flags without a skull and crossbones at all.

Look for another secret message next month!
