Matthew Parker’s Decoder #2010-3

Did you see the mixed-up message in the March Jones & Parker Solve-It-Yourself mystery in the March issue of Focus on the Family Clubhouse magazine? If you missed it, here it is again:

doN’T gET sesaME SEeDS OR LITTlE phOtO PRiNTS afTER NINE

 Decode this message by following these instructions:

A = Don’t read it!

a = Read it . . . backward!

How It Works:
When you’re given a word, only read the lower case letters—and read them backward!

        <————————-
      !YES    S       Y      DO
       yes, I sOLD yOUR doG!

Coolness!
The terms “upper case” and “lower case” originated with printing presses. The capital letters were stored on the top shelf—or the upper case—while the other letters occupied the bottom shelf, or lower case. Now you can use this code to write your own secret messages.

Look for another decoder next month!
