Would you like (or love) a hint to February’s code? Here it is again:
How It Works
This sweetheart code couldn’t be simpler. Read the last letter of the first line inside each heart, then put them together.
“For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!” —Romans 8:38-39
Coolness!
“Sweethearts” have been around for more than 100 years. These small, colorful candy hearts traditionally come in six flavors: lemon, apple, blue raspberry, strawberry, grape and orange. They measure 1/2 inch and each one can fit up to two words with four letters.
Some of the messages are updated each Valentine’s Day. Throughout the year, NECCO produces about 100,000 pounds of hearts daily. Once February arrives, nearly eight billion hearts will sell in only six weeks.
