A good detective knows how to keep a secret. Crack these codes, then write secret messages with your friends!
Code #2021-11
If the triangle points down, move backward in the alphabet the number of letters written above. That means that the first letter goes from M back to G. If the triangle points up, count forward that many letters.
Read the new letters left to right to reveal the secret word.
Code #2021-10
Each point on the crown has a specific value, from left to right, of 16, 8, 4, 2, 1. To crack this code, add up the crown points with jewels on them. For example, the first crown totals 19. Convert each crown’s number to a letter, where A is 1, B is 2, etc.

To crack this code, think about a traffic light. Green means go, red means stop. So stop and read each letter inside a red circle, going row by row to uncover the secret word.
Code #2021-05
Find the red X on each row. It will show you which cluster to read.
Red A: A, B, C, D, E
Red B: F, G, H, I, J
Red C: K, L, M, N, O
Red D: P, Q, R, S, T
Red E: U, V, W, X, Y/Z
Once you’ve identified the correct cluster, count across until you reach the pencil shade. For example, on the first row you’d use the third letter of the B cluster, which is H.
Read the decoded letters row by row to find the secret word.
Code #2021-03
Starting at the top, count the stitches until you reach the black stitch on each baseball. For example, the baseball below is 20.
Hint: Both arcs have 13 stitches, so if the black stitch is on the bottom half, count from the left and add 13.
Once you have all six numbers, replace the numbers with letters using basic substitution.
A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, D = 4, E = 5
F = 6, G = 7, H = 8, I = 9, J = 10
