Gather
empty coffee can and lid
roll of bathroom tissue
scissors
felt or construction paper
double-sided tape
Go
1. With an adult’s help, cut a wide slot in the plastic lid.
2. Remove the cardboard tube from the bathroom tissue by squeezing one way, then the other and pulling out the tube.
3. Pull out the tissue from the center of the roll.
4. Place the roll in the coffee can and pull the tissue through the slot in the lid. Snap on the lid.
5. Cut felt or construction paper to the size of the coffee can. Stick it on the can using double-sided tape.
