Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

All the brains in your family will love these resources!

We want to equip you to help your kids connect with God in ways that will work for how they’re individually wired. The more research we do here at Focus on the Family, the more we are convinced that brain health is one of the key factors in raising healthy, resilient kids. When we get enough sleep, when we eat right, when we manage our time effectively, we take care of something that is with us our entire lives…our body! And specifically, our brain! On a spiritual level, you can reinforce your kids’ identity to help them see they are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: How Your Child Connects to God

Each new school year presents kids with a wealth of opportunities for engagement. But these opportunities can be so taxing on their brains! With so many spiritual, academic, and relational demands competing for their time and attention, many students find themselves just wanting to escape and have fun. The busyness they experience can also leave them feeling disconnected from God, resulting in more possibilities for distraction and poor decision-making. By fostering healthy connections and providing appropriate fuel for both the brain and the soul, parents can help give kids what the brain needs to effectively develop throughout the school year. On a spiritual level, you can reinforce your kids’ identity to help them see they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
