Governor Bobby Jindal served under President George W. Bush as Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services for Planning and Evaluation from 2001-2003. He went on to become a member of the US House of Representatives for Louisiana’s First District, and was elected the 55th Governor of the state of Louisiana in 2007. Governor Jindal and his wife, Supriya, have three young children.
