Born in Ballymun, Dublin, Bono is the iconic frontman of the Grammy award-winning band U2. He is also a well-known activist in the fight against AIDS and extreme poverty in Africa, having co-founded the awareness organizations ONE and (RED) in 2004 and 2006, respectively. Bono and his wife, Ali, married in 1982; they have four children.
