Darren Washausen is the President and Executive Director of Orphan Care Alliance (OCA) in based in Louisville, Kentucky. He has led the organization since January, 2009 where he established it as a legal non-profit and led it as a volunteer through 2018. Darren has an engineering and business education and worked in manufacturing companies throughout his career. After 35 years, he retired from industry to lead Orphan Care Alliance full-time beginning in 2019. Darren has been married to Stacia for 37 years and they have a daughter Britt, and two sons, Noah and Andrew. Noah was adopted from Congo in 2011 and Andrew was adopted from Russia in 2004.
