David Platt is the lead pastor of The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Ala. He holds two masters degrees and a Ph.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Platt has authored two books, Radical: Taking Back Your Faith From the American Dream and Radical Together: Unleashing the People of God for the Purpose of God. Platt and his wife, Heather, have two sons and are in the process of adopting a child from Nepal.
