A strong advocate for foster and adoptive families, Jessie Gallaher has chronicled her own family’s experiences in her book Many Thorns, Yet Still Roses: Breaking the Silence With Our Story of Sibling Group Adoption. She and her husband have five adopted children, and as an Army wife, she is an active volunteer in the military community. She and her family enjoy hiking, visiting local parks, playing football, and finding ways to express their appreciation to members of our nation’s Armed Forces.
