John Wooden is one of the most successful coaches in college basketball history. He led the UCLA Bruins to 10 NCAA championships in a 12-year period, with a streak of seven in a row from 1967 to 1973. Over 27 years, he won 620 games, which included an 88 win streak. Wooden was also the first person to be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame both as a player and as a coach. The sports legend passed away on June 4, 2010 at age 99. He is survived by two children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
