Karla Dial

Karla has an eclectic background in journalism. Having earned her degree from New Mexico State University, she spent a few years as a sportswriter and features reporter at The Desert Sun, a daily newspaper in Palm Springs, Calif., before going to work for a medical Web site. She has written extensively about matters of public policy, spending five years running two monthly publications dealing with education and health care reform for a libertarian think tank; she reported for Citizen for 10 years before being named editor in 2012. In her spare time, she enjoys weight training and writing articles for women’s fitness magazines.
