Ken Swarner

Ken Swarner splits his time as a father, husband, newspaper publisher, author, volunteer, and professional garden designer.  He married his high school sweetheart in 1988, and together, he and his wife Allison have raised four boys, volunteered actively in their church and scouting, and love to travel the world. Ken has served as a PTA president and school board member of his children’s Christian school.  He publishes weekly newspapers for his military community and was inducted into the Civilian Hall of Fame at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in 2013. Ken’s hobby has always been gardening, which he turned into a business during Covid, and has since designed and installed over 20 gardens for clients in his community.  He currently has 8 projects in various stages of development.
