Melanie currently serves as the Adoptive & Foster Care Coordinator at Mosaic Church in Winter Garden, Florida. Melanie and her husband of 30 years have been Foster Parents for almost 20 years and were involved in kinship care before becoming a foster family. Together they have four biological children and adopted a sibling group of six with developmental needs. Melanie currently serves her community as Vice President on the State of Florida Foster Parent Association as well as Treasurer of her local Lake County Foster Parent Association. She is passionate about serving and supporting Foster/Adoptive children and families through educational trainings, emotional support, and “Care Communities”.
