Michelle Ablard has been a school teacher and educational specialist for more than 25 years. She became certified as a foster parent in 2017 and fostered eight children over a five year period. Michelle had the unusual opportunity to care for a pair of siblings who were students at the grade school where she taught, and adopted these children five years later.
