Patrick Gray and Justin Skeesuck

Patrick Gray and Justin Skeesuck have been lifelong, close friends. At age 15, a car accident triggered a dormant neuromuscular disease in Justin’s body, leaving him confined to a wheelchair, and though life led the two friends down different paths, their childhood friendship has not only survived but thrived in their adult years. In 2014, their bond grew even stronger when they had to rely upon each other to overcome the challenges of the ancient Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage through Spain made all the more difficult as Patrick pushed Justin the entire way in his wheelchair. Since returning from Spain, Patrick and Justin have begun careers as professional speakers and authors. They have co-authored a memoir titled I’ll Push You, and have an award-winning documentary of the same title. To learn more about their books, film and speaking availability, visit illpushyou.com.
