Rebekah Weigel is a writer and producer whose work includes the critically acclaimed short film The Butterfly Circus, which became a viral phenomenon, impacting countless lives around the world and winning over 35 film festival awards. She is a foster/adoptive parent who is passionate about reversing the foster care crisis in America. Toward that end, she and her husband, Joshua, have co-written and produced Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot (set for release in 2024), which presents the remarkable story of families from a small church in Possum Trot, Texas, who banded together to adopt 77 children from the local foster care system. Rebekah and Joshua have five children.
