Robert Glover

Robert Glover is the founder and executive director of Care for Children, an organization whose mission is to work with governments in Asia to help create a positive alternative to institutional care through local family-based care for disadvantaged children. He serves as an adviser to the Chinese government on social welfare, and under his leadership, approximately 300,000 children have been placed in loving foster care families across China. Robert was recognized for his efforts when the Shanghai government awarded him the White Magnolia Award in 2000 for outstanding services to the city.
