Roma Downey

Roma Downey is an actress, a producer, and the president of LightWorkers Media, the faith and family division of MGM Studios. One of Roma’s most widely-known roles was her portrayal of the character Monica in the popular CBS television series, Touched by an Angel, a performance that earned her Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominations. She also played Mary, the mother of Jesus, in the 2013 hit TV miniseries The Bible, which she co-produced with her husband, Mark Burnett.  Roma has authored several books, the most recent of which, Box of Butterflies, was a New York Times best-seller.
