FAQ: Updating Your Email Subscription Settings

At Focus on the Family we create resources that are designed to help families thrive but can cover a wide range of topics and stages of life.  These are all great resources but may not be applicable to you. We want to simplify your life and make sure you receive only the emails you want. The Email Preference Center allows you to choose the specific newsletters and topics that interest you. You can set your email preferences two ways: directly through any email you receive from Focus or on our website. Email:
  1. Click “Manage Preferences” at the bottom of any email from Focus on the Family
  2. Uncheck any boxes for topics or newsletters you aren’t interested in. Check boxes for anything you would like to receive.
  3. If you would prefer not to receive any email from Focus, you can click “Unsubscribe from all emails from Focus on the Family” at the very bottom of the page.
Focus on the Family Website:
  1. Go to the Account Management Page and enter your e-mail address.
  2. Check the boxes in front of the e-mails you wish to receive. Uncheck the boxes in front of the e-mails you no longer wish to receive.
  3. Click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.
  4. You’ll see a confirmation page that lets you know that you’ve successfully changed your subscription preferences.
A few notes:
  • If you choose to unsubscribe from all Focus emails, we will still send “transactional emails,” like statements, your pledge benefits or communications regarding your account. And if you send us an email, we will respond as necessary.
  • Unchecking the “Support Family” box will remove you from any solicitation emails.
