Emily ColsonEmily Colson is an artist, author and speaker. In her book Dancing with Max - awarded "Book of the Year" by the Austism Society - Emily and her father, Chuck Colson, share the struggle and beauty of life with Emily’s autistic son, Max. Emily has told her story of hope throughout churches nationwide, as well as on numerous media outlets. She is passionate about engaging families affected by disability with the church. Emily has been a single mother for most of Max’s life, and currently resides near Boston, Mass.

Charles Colson (deceased)Chuck Colson (1931-2012) was the founder of Prison Fellowship Ministries, a Christian outreach to inmates, ex-inmates, crime victims and their families. Well-known as the aide to former President Richard Nixon, Chuck was also popular as an author, speaker and as a commentator for the nationally syndicated radio broadcast "BreakPoint." Chuck is survived by his wife, Patty, their three children and several grandchildren.
