Erin Smalley serves as a Strategic Marriage Spokesperson for the Marriage Ministry at Focus on the Family. She is also a licensed professional counselor with a private practice (Smalley Marriage), co-creator of the Ready to Wed premarital curriculum and The Marriage Assessment by Focus on the Family, a podcast co-host (Crazy Little Thing Called Marriage and Focus on the Family Marriage Podcast), and a sought-after conference speaker. Erin is the author of 10 Things a Husband Needs From His Wife, the co-author of 12 books, including Reconnected, Crazy Little Thing Called Marriage, and The Wholehearted Wife, and a frequent guest on Focus on the Family with Jim Daly.
Erin holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in curriculum development and instruction. Gifted with the ability to deliver valuable relational lessons along with a heavy dose of humor, Erin and her husband, Dr. Greg Smalley, deliver insightful and practical marriage enrichment content at conferences worldwide. Erin is blessed to be a biological and adoptive mom of four adult children – Taylor (Jin), Murphy (Jordan), Garrison, and Annie, and is also “Mimi” to her grandson, Josiah.
