Fall greetings to you from Focus on the Family! Here in Colorado, we’re enjoying some cooling temperatures and the golden aspens that are famous in the Rockies, and I know many families are starting to think about the upcoming holiday season.
In the midst of all this busyness, we’re reflecting on 2026 with a great deal of gratitude for the many families you’ve helped impact. Your generosity is transforming lives and helping place people on a better path. We can’t thank you enough for the vital role you play in ministering to families and enabling them to thrive.
Opportunities to nurture, defend, and strengthen families are more numerous than ever. The culture isn’t especially family-friendly these days, which makes it all the more challenging to maintain strong marriages and raise godly, mature, and resilient kids.
However, I’m always encouraged as I consider human history and see the ways God has always sustained and equipped His people even through the darkest days. He is always preserving a remnant.
I firmly believe that remains true today.
Even amidst cultural turmoil, the Lord is actively at work raising up, shaping, and sustaining a new generation of believers who will carry the light of His truth into the darkness. Often how He accomplishes this, of course, is through thriving marriages and intentional parenting rooted in Scripture. After all, faith is most commonly spread by way of families as they shine the light of Christ in their neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and communities.
With that in mind, your role is so vital to move forward with various initiatives such as Hope Restored marriage intensive sites around the country, the Option Ultrasound program, the Wait No More foster care and adoption outreach, media offerings such as Truth Rising — and much, much more! Each of these endeavors you make possible go straight to the heart of nurturing and affirming families and proclaiming biblical truths.

MARRIAGE/PARENTING
A woman named Brenda recently wrote to let us know how FOTF helped her during some particularly trying times on her journey as a wife and mother:

It’s also worth noting that your support doesn’t just reach people during times of trial. It also encourages husbands, wives, and parents in the day-to-day realities of family life. Sara, another wife and mother who wrote to us, shared this encouraging feedback:

EVANGELISM
Introducing people to Jesus Christ and spurring them on in their faith is what you are helping to accomplish through every effort. You make this possible not only through the flagship show (Focus on the Family with Jim Daly), but also through various other podcasts. Adventures in Odyssey, for instance, has been airing for nearly 40 years — and its fandom spans generations! Here’s a story we recently received about a young Odyssey listener who gave her life to Christ after hearing the show with her parents, who also grew up listening to it:
Our daughter says she’s Odyssey’s biggest fan. We talk about the characters like they are our friends and relate their situations and choices to our own lives. Cooper and Buck are her current favorite characters. The most eternal impact that Odyssey has had on our little one is encouraging her to give her life to Jesus. After listening to Connie’s salvation episode, she wanted to pray just like Connie. Our love for Odyssey actually predates our daughter’s birth, however. My husband grew up listening, and it was an important part of his childhood. I didn’t know about the show until my 20s, but when I was introduced to it, I subscribed to the app for quite a while to catch up on all that I had missed. – Jacey, Pennsylvania
SANCTITY OF LIFE
Finally, I’d like to share one woman’s powerful account of the life-saving impact you make possible through your generous support of the Option Ultrasound program:
Nicole (not her real name) was torn. She had told herself she wouldn’t have another child. But here she was facing the daunting prospect of raising three children as a single mom. Abortion was at the top of her mind.
Nicole visited a pregnancy medical center, where a patient advocate gently encouraged her to come back in for an ultrasound. Nicole agreed, and what she saw changed everything. Overwhelmed by the images of her active baby, Nicole began to wrestle with her decision. The advocate spent time helping her process her options. Eventually, Nicole said she had decided to parent her daughter, adding, “I can’t imagine my life without her.”
Today, Nicole is pursuing a career in real estate while caring for her beautiful baby girl and her other two children. It’s not always easy — but she knows her decision for life will always be worth it.
Whether you are helping a couple whose marriage is in crisis, providing resources to young parents, nurturing lasting faith in our fellow believers, or encouraging women to choose life for their preborn babies, you are making a big impact for God’s glory.
