A Transformed Marriage

Just as God brought about transformation in Saul's life, He can bring about transformation in ours, including in our marriage.

“For some days he [Saul] was with the disciples at Damascus. And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, ‘He is the Son of God.’ And all who heard him were amazed and said, ‘Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem of those who called upon this name? And has he not come here for this purpose, to bring them bound before the chief priests?’ ”
— Acts 9:19-21

  • How has God helped you to grow and change for the better?
  • In what ways do you think God has transformed our marriage?
  • How can our marriage become a witness to others of God’s power and love?

The Christians in Damascus could hardly believe that Saul, who used to persecute them, was now proclaiming Jesus as the Christ. And just as God brought about transformation in Saul’s life, He can bring about transformation in ours, including in our marriage. God wants to use our marriage to transform us into the likeness of His Son. And He wants our marriage to reflect the love He has for all of us.
