Since 2005, Dan Lipinski has been serving as the U.S. Representative for Illinois’ 3rd congressional district, which includes southwestern Chicago and its suburbs. He has authored almost 20 laws that boost American manufacturing jobs, protect the environment, empower victims of sexual assault, honor veterans, and much more. Rep. Lipinski has worked to help improve transportation in his state, leading initiatives that have enhanced local quality of life by creating jobs and easing congestion. His efforts in this regard have extended to the national level during his service as Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee’s Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials.
