Felicia Mason-Edwards

Felicia Mason-Edwards is a child welfare advocate, therapist, motivational speaker and mother. She has been in social services for 30 years. She has worked for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as the Division Administrator for Faith-based programs. Felicia specializes in helping families, faith-based communities and organizations understand each other’s systems and how to work better effectively on behalf of children and families. She is responsible for helping to create innovative approaches and systems that help communities become successful through accountability. Felicia is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work smarter, not harder but partner better. She received her Bachelor of Science in African-American Studies and Youth Studies from the University of Minnesota and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University. Felicia is inspired daily by her family. In her free time, Felicia likes to go shopping, enjoys fishing and watching martial arts movies.
