Heather Gray Blalock

Heather Gray Blalock was a mom of three young children and happily married to Major David Gray until he was killed in action in Afghanistan three days before their 11th wedding anniversary in 2012. Heather served as a Key Spouse in the Air Force, a commander-appointed position of liaison between the leadership and spouses, for six years. She is the author of Faith, Hope, Love & Deployment, a book she and her late husband brainstormed together and she completed in 2014. Heather continues to serve military families as a Key Spouse Mentor and as the new wife of Lt. Colonel Jack Blalock, a Civil Engineer Squadron commander in the Air Force. The couple resides in Nevada with their six children.
