Plugged In helps parents navigate the entertainment world by providing thoughtful movie, TV, music and video game reviews. The website gets more than 1 million visits every month and in addition to entertainment reviews includes the Plugged In blog and podcast. It debuted its "Best of" movie and music lists to highlight 2012's family-sensitive movies and entertainment with redeemable messages.
"Today, I Will" launched during the back-to-school season and encouraged families to incorporate small acts of kindness into their daily routines. The campaign used social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest to get people to visit the landing page, engage with content and download an interactive PDF. A Facebook app gave users the ability to place a "Today, I Will" sticker on their photo and post it on their wall.
